Role Overview
PHIC is seeking a committed Project Officer-SRH to support planning, implementation, and monitoring of SRHR projects. The Officer will ensure effective delivery of project activities, strengthen stakeholder collaboration, and contribute to PHIC’s mission of advancing inclusive, evidence-based, and youth-centered SRHR programming.
Key Responsibilities
– Plan, implement, and monitor SRHR project activities in line with PHIC’s objectives.
– Coordinate project operations to ensure timely delivery of outputs and milestones.
– Support stakeholder engagement (Government, CSOs, Community, donors).
– Represent PHIC in meetings, workshops, and events.
– Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare progress reports.
– Manage project resources efficiently.
– Support training and capacity-building initiatives.
– Monitor project outcomes and recommend improvements.
– Contribute to resource mobilization efforts and donor compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, or Clinical Medicine.
– Postgraduate qualification in Public Health, SRHR, Policy, M&E, or Program Management is an advantage.
– At least 2 years’ experience implementing SRHR or Climate-Health projects in an NGO setting.
– Knowledge of advocacy, partnerships, and policy frameworks in SRHR and Climate-Health.
– Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Role Overview
PHIC is seeking an Advocacy and Partnerships Officer to lead advocacy initiatives and strengthen strategic partnerships that advance climate-resilient, gender-responsive SRH and health outcomes. The Officer will engage policymakers, civil society, youth, and communities to ensure evidence-based, inclusive, and sustainable interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advocacy campaigns on Sexual and Reproductive Health and rights, health, and climate change-Health nexus.
- Support in establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships with Government departments, civil society organization, NGOs, communities, and donors.
- Represent PHIC at stakeholder forums, coalitions, and networks.
- Work with program team to ensure advocacy priorities are informed by community evidence on SRHR and Health.
- Conduct policy research, track emerging developments in health, and prepare policy briefs, advocacy materials, and reports.
- Empower communities, young people, to participate meaningfully in advocacy initiatives.
- Contribute to resource mobilization efforts by supporting donor engagement and proposal development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Environmental/Climate Studies, or related fields.
- A postgraduate qualification in Public Health, SRHR, Policy, M&E, Program planning and Management or Development will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience working in advocacy and/or partnerships in the field of health, SRHR, Climate-Health nexus with aim of influencing change in practice, legal and policy environments.
- Experience working with NGOs, donors, and government institutions.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Health, SRHR, Climate-health linkages, youth engagement, and gender equality, policies and frameworks at national and regional levels.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex issues into policy-relevant messages.
- Team player with strong coordination, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and committed to Health, SRHR and climate justice.
