Welcome to Partners for Healthy Individuals and Communities (PHIC)

Partners for Health Individuals and Communities (PHIC) is an indigenous not-for- profit organization dedicated to addressing the health needs of the Ugandan population.

At PHIC, we are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the Ugandan population. We envision a holistically healthy Ugandan population and creating a world with universally accessible quality health care for all regardless of their affiliation with religious, political, cultural, or any other societal groups. We aspire to work hand in hand with communities to deliver innovative health solutions that make a difference in people's lives.

News and Updates

Voices from the Community

Real stories from the people PHIC works with, in their own words.

“At 22 years old, I had already given birth to two children within a space of two years, and I felt that was too much on me — my life was less productive. When I met a friend who had attended the PHIC health camp, he shared with me the information he had learnt there, like how to prevent unintended pregnancies. I made a decision to go and get family planning at the health centre. Now I am being productive, making bags and other items to provide for my children, because of this information.”
