Taking the evidence from the health camps, facility mentorships and community outreaches straight to decision-makers, PHIC engages national and district health leadership to champion stronger policy and resourcing for adolescent and youth SRH.

In April 2026, PHIC presented programme evidence and policy recommendations to the Ministry of Health Uganda, Adolescent and School Health division in a virtual advocacy session, making the case for stronger national support for adolescent-responsive SRH services. Dr. Irene Mwenyango, Assistant Commissioner for Adolescent and School Health at the Ministry of Health, was in attendance.

In April 2025, PHIC met in person with the Wakiso District health leadership team and the District Committee on Adolescent Health (DICAH) to review progress and agree next steps for strengthening adolescent and youth SRH service delivery across the district, building on PHIC’s existing MoU with the District Health Team, Wakiso District Local Government.
